Miami Beach, FL — When looking for a sport fisher, cruiser, yacht, or superyacht there are many different styles and customizable options you can incorporate into your vessel.  Whether you are on a budget or ready to spend the big bucks, the 20th Annual Yacht & Brokerage Show on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, February 14-18, 2008, will show you what your money really can buy.   Below are just some of the hundreds of vessels that will grace the waterways at this year’s show.  With so many different options, you may be surprised what you get for the money.

For Just Under $1 Million - WORLD DEBUT: San Juan Yachts - SJ40 Fly Bridge
The all-new SanJuan40 Fly Bridge is the newest model in their series of lobster boat styled cruising motor yachts.  This new model offers a premium level of interior space in a highly functional interior and exterior layout complimented with the addition of a flying bridge.  Starting in the cockpit, you’ll find a large area designed to allow ample room for sitting, dining, fishing and sunbathing.  Two bulwark lockers (port and starboard) in the cockpit allow for easy storage of fenders, mooring lines and even a nine foot roll-up inflatable tender and it’s outboard engine.  From the cockpit, you can enter the pilothouse through a tempered glass door.  Aft of the helm seat is a bar area with counter, stainless steel bar sink and teak storage locker for all of your bar essentials.  Below deck, the galley is open to the pilothouse and forward of the galley is a walk-around queen berth, which lifts for access to storage below.  This 40-foot fly bridge doesn’t just have the desired space around the boat for fishing and entertaining, but also the unique abundance of storage space for your necessary belongings and all those little extras you like to keep handy on the boat, all for just less than $1 million.

For $575,000 - EAST COAST DEBUT: Anchor Yacht Sales - Fathom 40
Not only is this a debut yacht from Fathom, but it’s the first of a unique series of fast expedition yachts for this growing company.  Her design is modern and distinctive, which makes it different from the classic trawler one is used to seeing.  Her wide beam provides stability as well as vast interior space.  There are two staterooms, an ensuite head and a salon that rivals the space of any other yachts its size.  The raised pilothouse includes a settee that accommodates 5, and provides excellent visibility all around the boat.  This American built vessel can be yours for the price of about $575,000.  That price also includes a unique folding transom that lowers to expand the aft deck and an efficient hull design and propeller tunnel that allows the vessel to burn considerably less fuel while cruising comfortably from cruising into the high teens with a single electronic diesel.

Just Over $700,000 - SHOW  DEBUT:  Cranchi - Mediterranée 43 Hard Top
This Italian-built yacht has all the stylish luxury of a superyacht with the sporty functionality of a mid-size cruiser.  She features a custom, all-weather hard-top with a power sunroof above, creating the feeling of being outside instead of cooped-up in the pilothouse.  Back aft, there is a large TNT hydraulic swim platform (optional) with dual transom entrances that lead to the lounge seating in the cockpit, which also converts hydraulically to a sun bed.  The 43 HT has a private suite-stateroom and private head-aft in the cabin below the bridge deck.  This, effectively, makes her a two-deck yacht.  A second private stateroom and head, with three hanging lockers is at the bow.  Either one of these spacious staterooms could be the master suite.  This 45-foot vessel doesn’t just have an innovative interior, she also has the Volvo Penta IPS 600 drive system, which makes dock anxiety a thing-of-the-past. For a little over $700,000, you get a luxurious and multi-functional yacht with, essentially, two master suites and the newest and most innovative engine on the market.

For $3 Million - WORLD DEBUT: Vicem Yachts - V63 Sport Fisher
Making its world debut is the Vicem 63′ Sport Fisher.  The 63′ carries on the Vicem tradition of timeless design and exquisite detail that is also evident in the Vicem 54 sport fisher and all Vicem yachts.  These yachts have handsome classic looks that combine outstanding comfort with the latest technology.  In addition to it’s timeless yet technologically contemporary aspects are the special design elements that really make this sport fisher stand out from the rest.  The interior seating area is upholstered with sumptuous leather, as is part of the specially designed ceilings.  The galley, bar area and bathroom are all done with gorgeous granite countertops. Vicem has partnered with some of the world’s top systems suppliers to ensure that their tradition of quality is consistent in every aspect of the boat.  It’s approximately $3 million to feel utterly at home on the water in this vessel and it is worth every penny.

For $2.8 Million - WORLD DEBUT: Global Yacht Builders & Hunt Yachts - GLOBALarrow 68
Do you prefer a yacht that you can captain yourself, or a crew to accompany you as you go sea-exploring?  With the GLOBALarrow 68 you can have the best of both worlds.  This 68-foot vessel was constructed specifically for active use by owners who prefer to be in charge of their own yachts.  However, a crew quarters aft allows you to take a break from the captain post and enjoy the some leisure time on board.  She boasts three roomy ensuite staterooms and an office/study.  The main deck features the advantage of a continuous deck that links the saloon, galley, helm and afterdeck for easy living and entertaining.  When you’ve done enough sunbathing on the aft deck and are ready to go for a quick jaunt on your tender, take one of the twin staircases down to launch your tender with a hydraulic stern platform.  The GLOBALarrow 68 featuring three suites, a modern, unbroken main deck and the option of captaining or crewing the vessel comes with a price tag of about $2.8 million.

For $6.7 Million - SHOW  DEBUT: The Berton Group - Royal Denship - 82 Open
The 82 Open Royal Denship is a superyacht that combines advanced hull technology and handling science to create a $6.7 million masterpiece.  This sleek yacht, from Royal Denship’s New Range line-up, features one owner’s/ VIP stateroom as well as 3 spacious guest cabins.  The owner’s stateroom is on the lower deck situated amidships, therefore exploiting the whole beam of the hull, which allows for a spacious bathroom with a separate shower unit.  There is also a separate, fully-stocked galley and dinette for the crew that is equipped with a separate access point.  Moving to the main deck, the living space, separated by a big window from the cockpit, is a stylish semicircular living area with beautiful furnishings.    On the starboard side there is an internal dinette with a sideboard and small armchairs.  The exterior decks of the yacht are all done in teak wood.  There is ample room on deck where in the structure of the deckhouse also works as a large sundeck.  Finally, the cockpit features a dining table that seats up to eight guests creating a perfect conversation area.

For $12 Million - SHOW DEBUT: Lazzara Yachts - 116′ Serenity
The 116′ Serenity was centered around the idea of being built handicap accessible, the first yacht of its kind to be built or designed with that in mind.  Starting outside, the boarding gate is designed wider than usual for easy boarding to the yacht.  Inside, the staircase forward and to port, by the dining area, includes a chairlift.  The chairlift has access to all of the staterooms except one and arrives at the base of the stairs where a stateroom, with a wider door opening than usual is situated.  This particular stateroom is separated from an adjacent room by double doors, which can be kept open if a guest needs assistance.  In addition to Serenity’s handicap accessibility, the yacht features a unique rear-lit granite floor in the foyer.  The galley incorporates even more technology with an electronic tinting skylight that can be adjusted at the touch of a button.  So, to recap, for $12 million you could own a yacht like Serenity, uniquely designed with handicap accessibility in mind and incorporating some of the newest technology to date

For $35 Million - SHOW DEBUT: Christensen - 157′ Custom Series, Lady Joy
This 157′ foot superyacht is the newest model in Christensen’s 157′ Custom Series, and unique features abound.   One thing to keep in mind when learning about this vessel is the number “12.”  Starting at the top, on the sun deck, is a Jacuzzi, barbecue grill area, bar with stools and an adjacent banquet for casual dining for  12.  Just below, on the bridge deck, you’ll find a spacious sky lounge with bar, a cocktail/game table and covered dining area for…that’s right, 12!  On the main deck is a master cabin with walk-in robes, his and hers bathrooms and a private office.  The salon, with a fully equipped entertainment center, is separated from the formal dining area (with seating for 12) by a center credenza.  This superyacht also has accommodations for 12 guests.  In addition to the owner’s cabin, there is a VIP suite, 4 guest suites and a nanny cabin with two single bunk beds, all with their own bathrooms.  So for about $35 million, you get seven different suites, six spacious decks, dinner seating for 12 everywhere you look AND an elevator that services all of the six decks.  Not bad for a floating mansion.
